RED-FLOWERED MALLEE. Eucalyptus erythronema subsp. erythronema is an inland wheatbelt species which occurs in the area bounded by Cunderdin, Kulin, Bullfinch and Mukinbudin.


The species name 'erythronema' means red threads in Latin.


The bark is smooth white and powdery for much of the year.
