HARROW WATTLE. Acacia acanthoclada subsp. acanthoclada is a rigid shrub with long spines and plentiful distinctive shorter phyllodes. The phyllodes look as if they have been cut across the end at an angle. The species has a scattered inland distribution in southern Western Australia and is most common in the southern wheatbelt. It also occurs in South Australia, New South Wales and northern Victoria.
