Comesperma flowers have two 'normal' petals on either side of a smaller column which can be a different colour. The larger petals of Comesperma integerrimium are green and the column is white and pink. It is a twining shrub or climber which can grow to 8 m high though in Westonia Common a height of 1 m or so is much more likely. The stem is striated (ridged).
